Meet the Host

Everything STEAM, is hosted by Sam Stanford, a Structural Engineer for Jacobs Engineering. Sam has a strong background in physics and mathematics, holding a BS, BA & a Mathematics Minor from a 3+2 Physics & Pre-Engineering curriculum.

Sam currently works as a Structural Engineer for the Jacob’s Engineering Pittsburgh office. Sam has had the pleasure of working in the United States, Israel and Poland with engineers from all over the world of differing ideologies.

In his free time, he organizes STEAM education events for the public in varying age groups, while producing science communication content online. In the past, he has group tutored Physics in all aspects of Classical Mechanics, and has mentored debate teams at his Alma Mater. For 2.5 years, he worked as the lab manager of a 3D Printing and Design Laboratory, and has conducted research on OECTs in a Nanofabrication Laboratory.

In Fall of 2024, he plans to return to university to achieve a P.hD. in Material Science. Learn more about him by clicking the link below!
