Meet the Guest Stars
Alexa Vas
Alexa has a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Győr in Hungary! She now holds a position as a Production Planner and Process Engineer with Hungary’s Audi Engine Factory. This exposes her to Audi’s additive manufacturing practices that are sprinkled throughout the episode! Not only does she hold this position with Audi, Alexa is the Founder of Low-Cost Robotics, that focuses on 3D Printing prosthetics for children.
Noah Shinn
Noah graduated from Slippery Rock University with a Bachelor’s in Physics as well as a Bachelor’s in Engineering from West Virginia University. Currently, Noah works in a pump repair facility where he reverse engineers parts, which sometimes requires 3D Scanning Technology & also 3D Printing.
Noah and I go way back at Slippery Rock.. because he was in charge of our Department’s 3d printing lab… before I took it over! Him and I were both introduced to the concepts of 3D printing at the same place which is really interesting. After running it for some time, Noah handed the lab over to me after transferring to West Virginia University to finish his dual degree program.
