Meet the Guest Star
Dr. Ryan French
Dr. Ryan French is an astrophysicist researching the Sun at the National Solar Observatory in Boulder, Colorado. In particular, Ryan researches explosive phenomena in the Sun's atmosphere's called solar flares, improving our understanding of them using telescopes on the ground and in space. Ryan is also an avid science communicator, through interviews in the media, social media, and his new book - 'The Sun: beginner's guide to our local star'.
